Makes 12 cupcakes


All purpose flour 1 ¼ cup
Sugar 1 cup
Egg 1 large
Oil ¼ cup
Milk ½ cup
Baking powder ½ tablespoon
Salt pinch
Vanilla essence ½ teaspoon
Warm water ½ cup
In a bowl add egg, milk and sugar
Whisk till sugar starts to dissolve,
Add water, oil, vanilla essence and salt, mix well
Now add flour and baking powder,
Mix till no lumps remains,
Scoop of 12 cupcakes in a tray with liners,
Bake for 15 minutes at 350For 180C,
When inserting the toothpick come out clean
Let it cool down completely,
Then frost and serve
Butter cream frosting ‘
Unsalted soften butter ½ cup
Icing sugar 1 cup
Vanilla essence ½ teaspoon
Milk 2 tablespoon
Beat butter using beater until smooth and fluff
Add sugar, vanilla essence and milk
Beat till smooth,
Tip: add sugar gradually
