NYC Chocolate Chip Cookies | Simple & delicious | Areeba’s kitchen

Butter                                  200 grams (soften)

Brown sugar                      ¾ cup

White sugar                       ½ cup

Eggs                                     2 large

Vanilla essence                1 teaspoon

All purpose flour              2 ½ cups

Baking soda                       1 teaspoon

Baking powder                  1 teaspoon

Salt                                      ½ teaspoon

Semi-sweet chocolate chips                        1 ½ cup

Roasted walnuts                                             1 ½ cup (chopped, skin-off)

In a bowl add butter, and both the sugars, mix well

Add eggs and vanilla essence, mix till smooth,

Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt,

Add gradually and folding,

Now add chocolate chips and walnuts,

Now scoop then and place in a baking dish

Recommended cookie weigh is 6 oz but can be make 2oz or 4 oz,

Freese or refrigerate for 10 minutes,

Bake for 12-15 minutes at 180C or 356F.

Let them rest and serve,

Enjoy with a classic cup of coffe

Note:

Don’t over bake the cookies (will become hard and dry)

Store in air-tight container for 20 days
