I know this recipe is a bit lengthy but believe me its super moist and delicious or ill say “it just melts in your mouth”


For sponge or base
All purpose flour 1 cup
Baking powder 1 ½ teaspoon
Eggs 5 large (separated)
Sugar 1 cup
Milk ¾ cup
Salt pinch (optional)
Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
In a bowl separated egg whites and egg yolks
In egg yolks add sugar and beat till creamy texture occurs,
Now gradually add flour, salt and baking powder
Now add milk and vanilla essence, beat until smooth consistency occurs.
Beat the egg white until stiff peaks appears and fold egg whites into egg yolk mixture until well combine (fold it with very light hand and add egg white gradually and fold, don’t over beat or mix)
Pour this cake batter into a greased dish preferably into 9 x 13 dish (greased it with butter)
And bake for 20-25 minutes at 350 F in a pre-heated oven
Bake till the inserted toothpick came out clean,
When the cake it baked, rest it on a room temperature until cooled down then put it in a fridge for 2 hours or overnight
For sauce/ syrup
Condensed milk 200 grams or ½ cup
Evaporated milk ½ cup
Milk 1 cup
Vanilla essence ½ teaspoon
Mix well until well combined.
Now prick the cake with fork and pour the prepared sauce and let it rest in fridge for ½ hour
Mean while prepare the topping
Whipping cream 500 ml
Whip the cream until firm peaks
Now topped the cake with the whipped cream
Chilled for few hours and serve
