Shepherd’s pie |delicious and easy recipe

For mash potatoes                        

Potatoes                             500 grams or 7-8 small

Butter                                  1 tablespoon

Milk                                     4 tablespoon or ¼ cup

Black pepper                      ½ teaspoon

Salt                                      1 teaspoon or to taste

Boil the potatoes with salt,

Until soft and tender

When potatoes get tender remove the water,

And add milk, butter and black pepper

Mash then until smooth

For meat gravy

Grounded meat                500 grams

Onion                                  1 small (finely chopped)

Garlic                                   3 cloves (finely chopped)

Tomatoes                           3 large

Ketchup                              2 tablespoon

All purpose flour              1 tablespoon

Rosemary                           ½ teaspoon

Chicken stock cube          1 cube

Worcestershire sauce     2 tablespoon

Red chili flakes                  ½ teaspoon

Black pepper                      1 teaspoon

Salt                                      ½ teaspoon or to taste

Mix veggies                       1 cup or more

Oil                                        4 tablespoon

Blend tomatoes in 1 cup of water,

In a pan add oil, sauté onion and garlic until translucent,

Add grounded meat saute till color changes,

Add blended tomatoes and all the spices

Except veggies and flour,

Then meat is tender and gravy starts to get thicken

Add flour and veggies cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until thicken,

In a baking dish place the gravy evenly,

On top of gravy put mash potatoes and make a even smooth surface

Make some design using fork or any other tool

Bake for 15 minutes at 200 Celsius,

It bake potatoes doesn’t  change the color broil for 3 to 5 minutes,

Serve hot and enjoy!!!
