
How to make perfect boil rice?
Basmati rice if correctly boil or cooked, gives an excellent texture to the meal. The perfect basmati rice is not at all sticky like other rice rather it should be separate from each other also basmati rice is longer in size as compare to other rice,
- Some of the tips I have discussed it below that will help your make rice better
- Wash at least 3 time minimum with Lukewarm water
- Soak the rice for approximately 30 minutes with lukewarm water,
- Always use bigger boil to soak rice, because it needs space to swell,
- Use big pot to cook rice,
- In 1 cup rice, add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of oil,
- Don’t over cook the rice,
- Don’t leave the kitchen while rice is being cooked,
- Use flat round spoon with holes
The recipe to boil perfect rice is
Basmati rice 2 cups
Salt 2 teaspoon
Oil 2 tablespoon
In a big pot water (covering ½ of the pot)
When water starts to boil add salt and oil
Along with soaked rice,
Now wait until rice starts to boil
Check when rice is 90 % done, (felt little hard when chew)
Drain the water using Stainer, (don’t stir)
Now put the rice back to the pot and leave in lowest flame for 7-10 minutes
Serve when there is no water,
