Chicken karahi | Restaurant style quick & easy recipe | Areeba’s kitchen

Chicken                              750 grams

Tomatoes                           500 grams (chopped)

Ginger garlic paste           1 tablespoon

Oil                                        ½ cup

Cumin                                  1 tablespoon (roasted and crushed)

Coriander seeds                              1 tablespoon (roasted and crushed)

Red chili flakes                  1 ½ tablespoon

Black pepper                      1 teaspoon (freshly grounded)

Salt                                      1 teaspoon or to taste

Green chilies                     4 medium (roughly chopped)

Ginger                                 2 tablespoon (Julian for garnish)

Fresh coriander                2 tablespoon (roughly chopped)

In a wok add oil, ginger garlic paste and chicken,

Sauté it for minutes or until chicken changes its color,

Add tomatoes and 2 green chilies, cook on medium-low flame until tender,

When chicken gets tender and oil starts to appear,

add cumin, coriander, red chili flakes, black pepper, and salt,

cook on high flame, (remove excess oil if wanted)

garnish with remaining green chilies, ginger and fresh coriander,

serve with naan or rice
