Boneless chicken             500 grams

Daal channa                       ½ cup (washed)

Onion                                   1 small (whole)

Ginger garlic paste          1 tablespoon

Black pepper corn            3-4

Cloves                                 3-4

Cinnamon sticks                2 pieces (1/2 inch)

Button red chilies              6 to 7

White cumin                     1 teaspoon

Salt                                      1 teaspoon or to taste

Egg                                       1 or more if needed

Green chilies                     2 medium (slices)

Fresh coriander                2 tablespoon

Mint                                    1 tablespoon

Oil                                        for shallow frying

In a pan add daal channa along with onion, ginger garlic paste, button red chilies, pepper, cloves, cinnamon, cumin and salt,

Add 2 cups of water and let it cook until daal channa gets soft

Now add chicken and cook till chicken is tender as water if needed

When mixture is dry and chicken is tender, let it rest for a while

Then grind the mixture, add splash the water if needed,

Now add egg, green chillies, coriander, and mint

Make round patties and shallow fry it until golden brown

Serve as a side dish or make burgers or sandwiches

Compliment with ketchup or green chutney
