Palak Paneer | Restaurant style dish | Areeba’s kitchen

Spinach                               500 grams (washed and chopped)

Cottage cheese                 250 grams

Onion                                   1 large (finely chopped)

Tomatoes                           1 large (finely chopped)

Garam masala                  ½ teaspoon

Ginger garlic paste         1 tablespoon

Cumin                                  1 teaspoon

Bay leaves                           2  medium

Red chili powder              1 teaspoon

Fenugreek leaves             2 tablespoon

Turmeric                               ½ teaspoon

Salt                                       1 teaspoon or to taste

Oil                                          ½ cup

In a pan add oil and sauté onions, cumin and bay leaves,

When onion turns golden add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric and salt

Add 1 cup to water and cook until the gravy thicken,

Now in an another pot add ½ cup water and spinach,

Cover the lid and cook till spinach is soft,

Let the spinach cool down then blend it with the remaining water,

When the gravy is ready, add blended spinach, fenugreek leaves and cottage cheese,

Cook till water gets dry and spinach gets thicken

Garnish with green chilies and serve with naan or rice
