Beef karahi | Eid-ul-adha special | Areeba’s kitchen

Beef               250 grams

Tomatoes     250 grams (roughly chopped)

Onion            1 small (finely chopped)

Oil                   ½ cup

Ginger garlic paste         1 tablespoon

Green chilies                   3 medium (roughly chopped)

Red chili flakes               ½ teaspoon

Red chili powder            ½ teaspoon

Black pepper                  ½ teaspoon

Cumin                              ½ teaspoon

Coriander seeds            1 teaspoon

Dry fenugreek leaves   1 tablespoon

Salt                                  ½ teaspoon or to taste

In a pan add oil and onions,

When onion gets translucent add beef and ginger garlic paste,

Sauté till beef changes the color, now add tomatoes and 2 cups of water,

Cover and cook till beef get tender,

Now add all the remaining ingredients,

And cook on high flame till water evaporates and oil starts to appear,

Garnish with green chilies and serve with naan
