Boiled chick-peas 1 ½ cup
Rice 3 cups
Onion 1 large (slices)
Oil ¾ cup
Green chilies 3 medium
Ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon
Cumin 1 teaspoon
Cinnamon sticks 2 inch
Black pepper corn 5-6
Cloves 5-6
Bay leaves 2 medium
Salt to taste or 3 teaspoon
Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes,
In a pan add oil, cumin, cinnamon, bay leaves, black pepper corn, cloves and onion,
Cook till onion starts to turn golden,
Now add boiled chick peas, green chilies and ginger garlic paste,
Cook for few minutes, now add soaked rice, salt and water,
Cook till water is dried,
Garnish it with some coriander and dry mint
Serve with chutney
