Shahi Paneer | Restaurant style Recipe

Paneer cubes                    1 ½ cup or 300 grams

Onion                                 1 medium (cubes)

Tomatoes                           2 medium (cubes)

Cream                                 3 tablespoon

Yogurt                                 3 tablespoon

Red chili powder               1 teaspoon

Turmeric                             ½ teaspoon

Ginger garlic paste            1 teaspoon.

Kasoori methi                     1 ½ tablespoon

Bay leave                             1 medium

Black cardamom                1 medium

Green cardamom               2 medium

Cinnamon stick                   ½ inch piece

Cloves                                   4 to 5

Black pepper corn              4 to 5

White Zeera                        1 teaspoon

Cumin seeds                        1 teaspoon

Cashew nuts                        ½ cup

Oil                                          ¼ cup

Butter                                   1 tablespoon

Salt                                        to taste or 1 teaspoon.

In a pan add 2 tablespoons of oil, add onion, garam masala and cumin seeds,

Sauté till color starts to change, now add tomatoes, cashew nuts, ginger garlic paste and till water,

Cook for a while now add yogurt, red chili powder and turmeric,

Let this gravy cool for 5minutes and blend inti thick paste add water if needed.

Now put little oil and butter in the same pan and pour the blended gravy.

Now add kasoori methi, salt and cook on low flame till gravy starts to cook,

When gravy get thick add cubed paneer and cook again for 5 to 10 minutes,

Now add cream cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until thicken,

Garnish with fresh coriander and some full fat cream

Serve with rice or chapati.
