Sweet & Sour Shrimp | Stir-Fry Quick & Easy Recipe

Tired of same old chicken sweet and sour chicken, but still love the taste of the sauce?

Here is a quite different recipe of sweet and sour sauce with the touch of seafood.

Shrimp                 500 grams

Bell peppers        1 medium (cubes)

Capsicum            1 medium (cubes)

Carrot                    1 medium (slices)

Onion                    1 medium (cubes)

Ketchup                   ½ cup

Chicken powder   1 teaspoon

Garlic                        3 cloves (crushed)

Hot sauce                 1 teaspoon

Black pepper           1 teaspoon

White vinegar         2 teaspoon

Soya sauce               3 tablespoon

Sugar                          2 teaspoon

Oil                              4 tablespoon

Corn starch              2 tablespoon or as needed

Salt                            ½ teaspoon if needed

In a pan add oil, garlic and shrimp,

Sauté till shrimp changes it color,

Now add ketchup, chicken powder, black pepper, white vinegar, soya sauce, sugar and little water for sauce,

When sauce starts to boil, add veggies and cook for 2 to 3 minutes,

Now dissolve corn flour in ½ cup of water,

Add corn flour solution to the sauce, gradually and until the sauce is thicken,

Garnish it with sesame seeds and green onion, serve with rice,
