Hyderabadi Style Timater ki Chutney | Hyderabadi Recipe

This chutney goes well with all kind of rice dishes, another thing i forgot to mention I learnt this recipe from my mother-in-law 😀

Tomatoes            ½ kg (chopped)

Oil                         ¼ cup

Cumin                  ½ teaspoon

Kalongi                 ½ teaspoon

Rai                         ½ teaspoon

Curry leaves                   10 to 15

Button red chilies          6 to 7

Ginger garlic paste        1 tablespoon

Red chili powder            ½ teaspoon

Turmeric                          ½ teaspoon

Salt                                   to taste ½ teaspoon

In a pan add oil, cumin, kalongi, rai, curry leaves and button red chilies

Cook until they started to fry or rai starts to pop,

Now add tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric, salt and ginger garlic paste.

Cook with lid on, on low flame,

When tomatoes gets tender fry the chutney till oil appears.

Garnish with green chilies and cilantro/ coriander.

Serve with rice dishes such as chick pea rice or green pea rice.
