Spiced carrot cake is one of my favorite tea cake of all times, because it’s not too sweet and the combination of carrots and cinnamon is priceless.
For the recipe you’ll need
All purpose flour 1 cup
Grated carrots 2 medium (stained)
Soften butter 125 grams/9 tablespoons
Caster sugar 100 grams/ ¾ cup
Egg 2
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
Cinnamon powder ¼ teaspoon or to taste
Vanilla essence few drops
Walnuts (optional) ¼ cup
In a bowl add butter and sugar; mix well with the help of whisk,
Now add egg, vanilla essence ad mix well
Now put flour, cinnamon, baking powder and mix it with light hand with spatula,
Add grated carrots and walnuts, mix well
Grease the baking pan and put all the batter in it,
Bake for 25 minutes at 180 degree Celsius,
First check after 15 minutes, then bake until the toothpick come out clean when you insert it.
