Hyderabadi Timater Ki Chutney

Very delicious and tangy flavors of tomatoes

Tomatoes                ½ kg (finely chopped)

Ginger paste            1 teaspoon

Garlic paste              1 teaspoon

Button red chilies    3 to 4

Cumin (Zeera)          ½ teaspoon

Kalongi                       ½ teaspoon

Rai                              ½ teaspoon

Curry leaves              10 to 12

Turmeric (haldi)         ½ teaspoon

Red chili powder        ½ teaspoon

Salt                               ½ teaspoon

Oil                                 ¼  cup

Green chilies, mint and coriander for garnish

In a pan add oil add cumin, curry leaves, rai and kolongi, sauté for 1 minute,

Add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder and salt,

Cook on low flame until tomatoes get tender (add ¼ cup water if needed)

Cook till oil appears,

Garnish and serve best to serve with kichri
