Creamy Ginger Karahi | Pakistani Special Recipe

Chicken                    750 grams

Onion                        1 medium (chopped)

Yogurt                       ½ cup

Cream                        ¾ cup

Oil                               ½ cup

Ginger garlic paste   1tablespoon

Coriander seeds       ½ teaspoon (roasted & crushed)

Zeera                          ½ teaspoon (roasted & crushed)

Red chili flakes         1 ½ teaspoon

White pepper           ¼ teaspoon

Black pepper             ½ teaspoon

Salt                              to taste or a teaspoon

Ginger                        ¼ cup (julienne)

Green chilies             1 medium (slices)

Fresh coriander        2 tablespoon

Sauté onion in oil till golden brown, add chicken and ginger garlic paste, fry till chicken changes its color,

Add yogurt, ½ cup water, ½ of the ginger with other spices, cook till chicken is tender,

When chicken is cooked and water is dry, add cream and remaining ginger with green chilies and chilies,

Fry till gravy is thick and oil appears on side,

Garnish with ginger, chilies or coriander,

Serve with naan.
