Basic Chicken Stock

Chicken with bones    ½ kg

Carrot                           1 medium (peeled)

Ginger                          2” piece

Bay leave                    3 to 4

Black pepper              ½ teaspoon

Put chicken in a big pot with all the other ingredients,

With almost 3 litter water,

Cook on high flame for 10 minutes,

Then cook on slow flame for 45 to 1 hour,

Stain the stock and use in soups, gravies etc.

Use the boiled chicken for soups, sandwiches etc.

You can freeze it in air tight container for 1 month.
