Almond chicken

NOTE: Almond chicken sauce has very mild taste.

Chicken               500 grams (cubes)

Roasted almonds     ½ cup (peeled)

Capsicum             1 medium (cubes)

Red bell pepper   1 medium (cubes)

Onion                    1 medium (cubes)

Carrots                  1 medium  (slices)

Chicken cube       1

Soya sauce           3 tablespoon

Garlic                    2 cloves (cruhed)

White pepper      ½ teaspoon

Black pepper       ½ teaspoon

Chicken powder  ½ teaspoon

Oil                          ¼ cup

Hot sauce            ½ teaspoon

Chinese salt         1 teaspoon

Corn flour solution    3 tablespoon + ½ cup water

Sauté garlic add chicken, cook until chicken is tender,

Add spices and 1 cup water.

Bring it to boil.

Add vegetables and boil them to boil on high flame.

Add corn flour and adjust the flavours

Garnish it with almonds.

In this recipe I didn’t deep fry the chicken with coating. For more amazing texture and taste you can deep fry them with following method:

Boneless chicken        500 grams (cubes)

Corn flour                     ¼ cup

Al purpose flour           ¼ cup

Egg                                 1 or 2

Black pepper               ¼ teaspoon

Salt                                ¼ teaspoon

Mix all the ingredients and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Deep fry each piece until tender and golden.

Tip: I use thigh boneless chicken pieces as they are softer and juicer
