Green Chicken Steam Roast | Pakistani Recipe

Chicken pieces  1 kg

Garlic                  1 bunch

Yogurt                 ¼ cup

Mint leaves        ¼ cup

Coriander leaves   ¼ cup

Lemon                 1 medium

Zeera                   1 teaspoon

Green chilies      5-6 medium

Salt                       1 teaspoon

Oil                        ¼ cup

Make a marinate by grinding all the ingredients together (except for chicken) into a paste.

Put cuts on chicken pieces.

Put the marinate in to the chicken and mix it well.

You can marinate for ½ hour to overnight.

Put the chicken in the pan along with the leftover marinate.

Put the lid on and cook on low flame.

Change the sides of the chicken after 10 minutes.

Cook until chicken is tender(almost 30 minutes).

When marinate is dry and you see oil on the sides

Then the chicken is ready to serve.

Enjoy it with paratha and onion.
