Koftay| Home Made Masala| Pakistani Special Recipe

For koftay

Chicken minced      ½  kilogram

Onion                       1 medium

Coriander                2 tablespoon

Green Chilies          2 medium

Ginger paste          1 teaspoon

Garlic paste            1 teaspoon

Kofta masala          4 tablespoon

Salt                           to taste or 1 teaspoon

For Gravy

Oil                             ½   cup

Onion                      1 medium

Tomatoes              2 medium

Salt                        to taste or 1 teaspoon

Red chili powder  1 tablespoon

Turmeric               1 teaspoon

Ginger paste         1 teaspoon

Garlic paste          1 teaspoon

Cumin                    ½ teaspoon

Whole spices        1 teaspoon

Kofta Masala        3 tablespoon

For koftay:

In a chopper, process all the ingredients together, till smooth paste.

Let the minced mixture rest for a while.

For gravy:

Sauté onions in oil till golden brown.

Add cumin, whole spices, tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and rest of the spices.

Add ½ cup of water and cook till tomatoes are tender and mashed.

When oil occurs on gravy, make a koftay and place it in the gravy.

Add water and cook for 10 minutes (lid covered).

Garnish it with fresh coriander and green chilies.

Serve with naan.
