Lebanese Whole Chicken

Whole chicken                      1

Oil                                            ½ c

Paprika  powder                    1t.sp

Black pepper powder           1 ½ t.sp

White Vinegar                        2tb.sp

Yellow food color                   pinch

Salt                     1 ½ t.sp or to taste

 

Marinate the chicken with above ingredients for more than 1 hour.

Place the chicken in oven safe dish and cover it with aluminum foil.

Now bake the chicken for 45-50 minutes at 150 degree Celsius.

Have a first check after 25 minutes and if chicken is dry add ¼ c water and cook till tender.

When chicken is tender remove the foil and bake till color changes and chicken gets dry.

Garnish it with olive oil and serve with pita bread and hummus.
