Loukey (Bottle gourd) 1kg (roughly chopped)
Onions 1 medium (slices)
Tomatoes 2 medium (chopped)
Cumin(zeera) 1 teaspoon
Red chili powder 1 ½ teaspoon
Salt to taste or ½ teaspoon
Oil ½ cup
Method:
In a pan, sauté onion and cumin till golden brown.
Add tomatoes, red chili powder and salt.
Cook till tomatoes get tender.
Now add loukey and cook on low flame with covered lid.
When loukey get tender, fry nicely.
Garnish with fresh coriander and green chilies.
Serve with chapatti and yogurt.
